Applications of polyester fabrics

The production potential and areas of polyester fabrics application are almost unlimited. New technologies are being developed all the time to give fabrics new and better properties.

Trans-Tex, a manufacturer of polyester fabrics, makes every effort that products leaving the weaving shop are of top quality and strictly satisfy customers’ needs. We can produce textiles from polyester fabrics and give them the required properties, e.g.:

  • water resistant – coating the fabric with a special appret that prevent ingress and soaking of water. This is desirable in fabrics designated for the manufacture of backpacks, bags, jackets for every season, raincoats, covers and some work clothes.
  • breathable – being completely synthetic material, polyester, with its cohesive structure, tends not to permit air; when designated for clothing, especially sports clothing, such properties as breathability have to be produced;
  • flame-retardant – the property desirable in special purpose work clothes, in curtains and some screens.
